Feed is built on a simple bargain with the people who use it: you should be able to speak your mind, gather without fear, and keep hold of your own experience — and that freedom doesn't get to come at the cost of someone else's safety or dignity. The rules below set out how we hold that line, in plain language, so there are no surprises about where you stand.
How These Guidelines Work
These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") cover anyone who uses Feed — users, creators, contributors, advertisers, and anyone else who accesses the platform (together, "Users"). By using Feed, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. When something breaks these Guidelines, our policies, or the law, we may take the content down, limit features, restrict access, suspend the account, or close it permanently.
General Standards of Conduct
You're responsible for what you create, upload, post, stream, or otherwise put on Feed ("Content"). We don't endorse user Content, and to the extent the law allows we're not liable for it. Posts that contain hate speech, harassment, sexual exploitation, violence, or credible threats may be removed, and the accounts behind them may be suspended or banned. While using Feed, you agree to:
- Treat other people's rights, dignity, and safety with respect;
- Be truthful and accurate in what you share;
- Not behave in ways that harm the platform or other users; and
- Follow the law that applies to you.
Free Expression and Public Interest
Political debate, journalism, and human-rights reporting matter, and we won't pull content just because it's critical or uncomfortable. Posts about governments, conflicts, elections, or movements stay up as long as they don't break these Guidelines. We moderate on the basis of conduct and rule breaches — not on the basis of which side of an argument someone is on.
Harassment and Abusive Conduct
Content that promotes violence, celebrates someone being hurt, or stirs hostility toward a person or group isn't allowed here, and accounts that behave this way may be suspended or closed. Harassment and abuse are strictly off-limits, including:
- Continued contact after being told to stop;
- Targeted bullying or harassment;
- Organised harassment campaigns; and
- Trying to intimidate, shame, or silence someone.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
We don't allow content that attacks, dehumanises, threatens, or pushes discrimination against people or groups based on protected characteristics — including slurs, supremacist ideology, and calls for segregation or exclusion. Breaking this rule can mean immediate and permanent removal from the platform. Protected characteristics include, but aren't limited to:
- Race or ethnicity;
- National origin;
- Religion;
- Disability or serious medical condition;
- Gender or gender identity;
- Sexual orientation;
- Age;
- Migration status; or
- Veteran status.
Violence and Dangerous Activities
Sometimes people need to share graphic footage to document human-rights abuses, war crimes, or newsworthy events — we allow that, with appropriate warnings. What we don't allow is organising or coordinating campaigns to disrupt elections, civic participation, or democratic processes. You may not post content that:
- Threatens or promotes violence;
- Gives instructions on how to harm others;
- Coordinates attacks against the platform;
- Glorifies extremist or terrorist organisations; or
- Encourages activities likely to get someone seriously hurt or killed.
Self-Harm and Suicide
Content that encourages, glorifies, or gives instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other self-destructive behaviour isn't allowed. Posts that seek support, talk about recovery, or raise awareness may be fine in context. Where it makes sense, Feed may share crisis support resources.
Sexual Content and Nudity
Sexual content isn't allowed on Feed. Anyone who posts it faces immediate account closure and, where relevant, a report to the appropriate authorities. A limited amount of non-graphic nudity in artistic, documentary, or educational contexts may be permitted case by case.
Feed isn't a pornography platform, so the following aren't allowed:
- Explicit sexual acts;
- Graphic sexual content;
- Soliciting sexual services;
- Linking to sexual services platforms;
- Fetish content meant for sexual arousal;
- Non-consensual intimate imagery; or
- Sexually explicit deepfakes.
Child Safety
Protecting children is a hard line for us, and our policy on child exploitation is zero tolerance. Where we suspect child exploitation, we'll report it in line with the law, including to government authorities where required. Users may not:
- Create, share, or distribute sexual content involving minors;
- Attempt to groom minors;
- Have sexually inappropriate communications with minors;
- Engage in sextortion, trafficking, or exploitation; or
- Livestream abusive content involving minors.
Animal Exploitation
Content showing animal abuse, torture, fighting, staged rescues, sexualisation, or wildlife exploitation isn't allowed.
Misinformation and Deceptive Practices
We may take down, label, or reduce the reach of misleading content. You may not share false or misleading information that could lead to real-world harm, including:
- Harmful medical misinformation;
- Impersonating public officials;
- Manipulating civic or electoral processes; or
- Deceptive synthetic media meant to mislead.
Authenticity and Impersonation
Parody and commentary accounts are welcome, but they have to say what they are. Content that knowingly spreads demonstrably false information likely to cause imminent harm may be removed. People have to represent themselves honestly. The following aren't allowed:
- Pretending to be another person, organisation, brand, or public figure;
- Making fake accounts to deceive people; or
- Manipulating engagement or trends through coordinated inauthentic activity.
AI-Generated and Synthetic Media
Feed is built around real, human-made content. We'd rather the platform wasn't full of synthetic posts, and we think users deserve that. AI-generated content is allowed only if it follows these Guidelines and the law. If something has been created or significantly altered using AI, the person posting it should say so clearly. Feed may label AI-generated content where needed and may take down synthetic media that risks harm or deception. Synthetic media may not be used to:
- Impersonate a real person without disclosure;
- Fabricate real-world events; or
- Make deceptive deepfakes intended to mislead.
Privacy and Personal Information
You may share publicly available information and use platform data in ways that are authorised and consistent with the applicable terms of use.
You may not attempt hacking, unauthorised access, credential abuse, or misuse of platform data, and you must not engage in doxxing or stalking. Private or personally identifiable information about other people must not be shared without their consent, including:
- Home addresses;
- Personal phone numbers;
- Financial information;
- Government identification numbers; or
- Private communications.
Illegal Activities
Feed can't be used to facilitate illegal activity. Content shared for legitimate journalism, documentation, or human-rights reporting may be reviewed with context in mind. This includes:
- Fraud or scams;
- Distributing or promoting illegal drugs;
- Selling stolen goods;
- Money laundering;
- Controlling or coercive behaviour;
- Human trafficking;
- Unlawful immigration offences;
- Handling or concealing proceeds of crime;
- Selling or promoting knives or other offensive weapons;
- Foreign interference offences;
- Hacking services; or
- Promoting terrorist organisations.
Scams and Financial Misconduct
Scams, financial misconduct, and fraudulent fundraising aren't allowed, and accounts involved in financial misconduct may be closed permanently. Users may not engage in deceptive financial practices, including:
- Investment scams;
- Pump-and-dump schemes;
- Pyramid schemes;
- Phishing attempts;
- Fake giveaways;
- Romance scams;
- False sponsorship claims; or
- Fraudulent fundraising.
Spam and Platform Abuse
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts involved in platform abuse. You may not abuse the platform by:
- Posting repetitive promotional content;
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages;
- Manipulating hashtags or trending systems;
- Filing reports, notices, or complaints you know are unfounded or made in bad faith;
- Using unauthorised automation tools;
- Scraping platform data;
- Trying to disrupt platform functionality; or
- Creating bot accounts.
Intellectual Property
We act on valid intellectual property complaints in line with the law. You need the legal right to share what you post. The following are prohibited:
- Uploading copyrighted material without permission;
- Reposting someone else's content without authorisation;
- Selling counterfeit goods; or
- Misusing trademarks.
Advertising and Disclosures
If your post is sponsored or promotional, disclose it, and follow the advertising and consumer protection laws that apply to you. You're responsible for making sure endorsements and promotional claims are truthful and not misleading.
Regulated Goods and Services
You may not promote or sell regulated goods or services in a way that breaks the law, including:
- Firearms;
- Tobacco products;
- Prescription drugs;
- Unlicensed financial products; or
- Unlicensed or illegal gambling services, and gambling aimed at minors.
Platform Security
You may not attempt to:
- Access restricted parts of the platform;
- Reverse engineer the platform;
- Exploit vulnerabilities;
- Circumvent moderation systems; or
- Extract platform data without authorisation.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to use Feed. Accounts that misrepresent a user's age may be removed.
Enforcement
Serious or repeated violations can lead to immediate and permanent account closure. Feed enforces these Guidelines at its discretion. Actions we may take include:
- Taking content down;
- Issuing warnings;
- Temporarily suspending an account;
- Permanently closing an account; or
- Turning off monetisation features.
Reporting and Appeals
You can report violations through the in-app reporting tools or our support channels. If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you can ask for a review by emailing safety@postfeed.online. After review, Feed may uphold, change, or reverse the decision.
Updates to These Guidelines
Feed may revise these Guidelines from time to time. If you keep using the platform after changes are published, that counts as accepting the updated version.
