We wanted a corner of the internet where people could say what they think, gather without being watched, and keep hold of their own experience. Feed exists for anyone who's watched a post quietly disappear, an account get demoted for no stated reason, or a topic stop reaching anyone — and who'd rather use a platform where the rules are written down and applied the same way to everybody.

Toward a platform that's genuinely run for the people on it. The social feed is step one. The bigger picture is a fair ecosystem for conversation, information, and community — one where what you see is shaped by you and the people you follow, not by a model nobody is allowed to look inside.

No. We're the venue, not the speaker. Feed supplies the plumbing for people to talk freely; what gets said, and the communities that form around it, are the users' responsibility and the users' work.

We don't take things down because of the viewpoint they express. Content is removed, limited, or otherwise moderated only when it breaks the Feed Community Guidelines or the law. That covers things like illegal activity, hate speech, harassment and bullying, sexual content that the Guidelines don't allow, copyrighted material shared without a licence, and behaviour meant to cause harm. When we act, we do it the same way every time and we tell you what we did.

No — and we won't. Feed doesn't quietly throttle reach, and we don't suppress posts without telling the person who made them. If something is removed or restricted under the Community Guidelines, we let you know, and you can appeal. There's no second set of rules running in the background that punishes a take based on opinion alone.

We don't sell or share your personal data for marketing, profiling, or other commercial purposes. The only time it leaves us is when the law genuinely requires it — a valid court order or similar lawful process — and even then it's handled in line with the Feed Privacy Policy.

No. There's no machine-learning model, no embeddings, and no black box deciding what reaches you. The For You timeline runs a deterministic rules pipeline that an admin can configure — every stage is readable, the effect of each rule is measurable, and the whole thing is explainable. The Explore feed uses simple, visible signals like recency and engagement to help you find things. What you see is shaped by logic you can inspect, not a model you have to trust.

Feed runs on established cloud providers picked for strong legal protections and good connectivity, with content delivery networks and edge infrastructure in front of them so the app stays quick wherever you are. We're upfront about the third-party providers we rely on, and we keep reviewing where data lives as the regulatory landscape shifts.

No. We're not a publisher, a newsroom, or a media company. We don't write editorial content or curate the news. Feed is a place for people to speak and connect — what gets shared is the users' responsibility, not ours.

Probably, at some point. For now Feed is supported by optional paid tiers that unlock premium features, and if advertising does arrive we'll be plain about how it works and how your data is — and isn't — used to support it.

Not at all. Feed exists because of censorship concerns, but it's built for anyone who wants a fairer social space — creators, small businesses, storytellers, teachers, and people who just want to see what their friends are up to. If you use the platform lawfully and follow the Community Guidelines, you're welcome here.

Yes. Data in transit is protected with TLS, and data at rest on our servers is encrypted too. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they're hashed with modern cryptographic techniques.

Public Feed posts aren't end-to-end encrypted, because they're meant to be seen widely — but they're still protected in transit and at rest. Your private messages are a different story: they're end-to-end encrypted with the Signal Protocol (X3DH key agreement plus the Double Ratchet), so our servers only ever hold encrypted envelopes and public keys. We can't read your messages, and we don't want to. No system is perfectly unbreakable, so do your part too — pick a strong password, keep your login to yourself, and take the usual care with your account.

Yes. We're working on ways for creators to make a living here — payouts, branded content, and ways for communities to support the people they follow directly.
